Designed by proud Gamilaroi and Dunghutti artist Priscilla "Cill" Lawlor, the Newcastle Knights' 2026 Indigenous Jersey is titled Yana-y bamba, yana-y gayaa ("Go Hard, Go Proud"), inspired by the club's run-out song.

At the heart of the design is the wedge-tail eagle, the primary totem of the Awabakal people, symbolising strength, courage, wisdom, protection and respect. Positioned across the players' chest, it represents the qualities the team strives to embody every time they take the field.
