Powaikaliko Piriraal Malang shares the story of the Newcastle Knights family, reflecting commitment to grow strong together, through connecting with communities across our footprint on country and bringing acknowledgement to the Awabakal, Worimi and Wonnarua people. A backdrop of gathering circles within the imagery highlights community connection and partnerships, celebrating the thirteen (13) tribal groups on country. These expanding circles also reflect strength and growth, while overlapping as a symbol of unity, understanding and respect as we build trust and work together towards self-determination. Traditional people and Elders symbolism within the design are linked and follow pathways across country together, representing inclusion, support and the journey forward together as we work towards shared vision to empower Indigenous people and communities.
